My eyes,
they itch,
they water,
they weep,
they close,
and open again.
My thoughts
they seldom cease,
they always race forward,
and race backwards,
causing doubt,
and peace,
at the same time.
My heart,
it takes,
it gives,
it aches,
it rejoices,
it feels.
My life,
it travels forward,
it crashes ashore,
it turns around,
it travels forward again.
Constantly evolving,
that is what life is,
an adventure,
a journey,
never ceasing to go somewhere,
and always finding,
discovering and uncovering self.
Life is a boat,
where you realize there are rocks ahead,
you gotta turn around,
and pick up where you left off.
Just because the water fills with waves,
crashing up and down,
splashing and spilling water upon your boat,
all the more motivation to find a way
to evolve,
to change,
for the better,
before you sink and drown,
or
crash into the rocky shore.
Bumps and bruises happen,
blood and scars happen,
brokenness and losses occur,
just
get
back
up
on
your
feet,
off
your
knees,
finding your inner strength,
and persistence,
to regain,
and discover,
that which life
is
all
about.
