personality traits??
Okay, so if a shift in personality is needed so as to not gravitate toward negative energy hmm
Or if it is a inherent personality trait, as you say it might be...
then what must one to so as to achieve said results?
I get that one must be careful and self-controlled with a bunch of things but must that be the case forever, even if there is a shift in personality and they are not gravitating toward negative energy? Or is it simply a forever thing where they must always keep an eye on things and be self-controlled? Doesn't seem too hopeful, does it?
hmmm
so what then would be the motivation for achieving said results if its a very slow and life-long process? there we go again with the words process (not exactly a fan of it)
you say persistence and tenacity are also required and according to the lovely dictionary.com:
persistence is:
- the act or fact of persisting
- the quality of being persistent (e.g. You have persistence, I'llsay that for you.)
- continued existence or occurrence (e.g. the persistence ofsmallpox)
persist is;
- to continue steadfastly or firmly in some state, purpose, course of action, or the like, especially in spite of opposition, remonstrance, etc. (e.g. to persist in working for world peace; to persist in unpopular political activities)
- to last or endure tenaciously (e.g. The legend of King Arthur has persisted for nearly fifteen centuries.)
- to be insistent in a statement, request, question, etc.
tenacity is:
- the quality or property of being tenacious.
tenacious is:
- holding fast; characterized by keeping a firm hold (often followed by of) (e.g. a tenacious grip on my arm; tenacious of old habits)
- highly retentive (e.g. a tenacious memory)
- pertinacious, persistent, stubborn, or obstinate
hmmm
This whole process has been creeping along just as though it were molasses, and although I don't particularly like it, there is not much I can do about the rate of movement with which it proceeds forward. It is simply a part of reality and in the end I'm sure it will be worth it. Actually, some part of me knows that it will be worth it even though another part of me feels like it's not worth the struggle, pain, heartache, challenge, the everything!
